Engine won’t start in heat

New owner of a 2013 Hurricane Sundeck Sport 188 OB with a Yamaha F115XA. Took it to Norris lake for a weekend trip and while the motor ran great in the mornings for fishing and evenings after the sun went down, it would not start in the hot sun.  I was able to avoid getting stranded by priming the fuel with the bulb and cranking at full throttle.  I suspect a fuel issue such as fuel pump or some other issue creating vapor lock. I ran sea foam through the 20+ gallons in the tank (likely old gas) and added another fresh 25 gallons.  Has anyone experienced this issue or have any ideas on where to start troubleshooting?
