2004 218RE Fundeck Navigation Lights. The lights should have a simple wiring schematic but in looking at the 3 position switch (Off-Nav-Anchor) there is what looks like a diode going from Nav to Anchor at the switch. Plus there are extra wires on the Nav side. Does anyone have an idea why this system needs that complexity?and where these other wires are going?

Thanks Capn. I rewired the thing using DPDT switch instead of a SPDT with a Diode. Works great.Thanks
