Original tach trouble lights

I recently purchased a 2004 226 FF and the original tach has been replaced. Was the original tach a multifunction gauge that had the indicators for low oil pressure/high water temp, etc...? There currently is a Faria Chesapeake standard tach with no indicators built in. I plan on redoing the instruments (the rest of the gauges are cloudy from age, as expected) and want to make sure I have all the indicators I need for a reliable journey. My boat has a Yamaha F150 four stroke outboard on it.
