How does one remove the AM/FM/CD radio from the side wall by the throttle arm?

Radio is cutting out for about 15 seconds, whenever a the boat hits a wave and I'm looking for advice on how to remove the radio so to test and check connections, before trying to force it out.

I have the same problem, I have a 2006 SD 217 and am trying to figure out how to remove the Jensen MSR4050G am/fm/cd unit from the side near the throttle, as an aside, would like to find the electrical diagram for the boat to determine the constant on (i can probably pull it from the horn which seems to always be on)

Ok, figured out how to remove the old radio.  The faceplate of the waterproof box protecting the unit pops off, then you can un-screw the entire unit and remove the radio from the protective box.
