Fuel Oder in storage areas

I have a 1999 Fun Deck 201there is a gasoline smell in the storage areas, underfloor, underseats, under sink, under inst panel.  There is no evidence of gasoline in the bilge water when I flush  it out.  The fill line and vent line don't appear to have any leaks at the connection to the tank nor the fill cap.

Ant suggestions??

I have the same problem. Did you find the leak?

You might also check the fuel sender unit.  There is a gasket that could leak.

You may also want to check the overall condition of your fuel hoses.  Hoses that are not made of materials that resist the effects of ethanol blended fuels (like ones that were installed on older boats) can become porous over time.  Although you may not actually have a leak, your hoses maybe are becoming porous, which will emit fuel smell.

My '99 GS201 also has a fuel odor in the ski locker. Is it normal to have a slight fuel odor below deck? No signs of fuel leakage anywhere.
