Tachometer not working

My tach, trim and speedometer have never worked on my 2004 gs232 Hurricane. I have a Honda 2004 BF225A outboard. The gauges are Faria.

I don't think There is anything common among these gauges that would cause them to fail. Other Gauges are working fine. Ideas where to start? Are. Faria gauges good quality?

I have a similar issue on my 2006 FD 218OB, Volt, Trim and Tach don't work. Also Faria gauges. The marina I spoke to suggested changing them out.
