Docking light problem

Hello all, I have 2007 237 Sundeck. One of my docking lights does not work. I troubleshooted by switching the bad light to the good light. It worked fine. I then took the good light light and hooked it to the bad light wiring plug and it did not work. I have 12 volts up to the connector but my voltmeter reads minus 12 volts. I cannot locate a ground wire either. Thanks in advance. Jerry
