Fixing torn striping

Options
I have a 2400 SD with blue and white striping. Frequent trailering has resulted in tears to the vinyl striping in the area where the boat hits the bow roller on the trailer. How do you go about fixing that and preventing it from happening?

Fixing damaged stripes and/or decals can require entire replacement (costly).  If you do "fix" the stripe and still frequently trailer the boat, it will probably happen again.

You may want to seriously consider a product like the one I have provided the link to below (if you haven't seen it or considered it before).  It will permanently cover and protect that area that occurs the damage.  I am considering it for my boat as well.  Maybe someone on the forum has installed one and can share their experience with it.

I have done the same thing to my stripes on my SD2000. Go to an Automobile body shop or a shop that does automobile pin striping and they should be able to match the stripes and either repair them for you or supply the material for you dto do it yourself. I have repaired mine twice and have what I need for the next time. LOL
