Not getting on plane or reaching RPM

Help. I have a new 2020 Sundeck Sport 201SS I/O that went on its maiden trip this last weekend. The boat will not plane and after about 4 seconds of trying to.... it beeps 6 times. Again, this is a brand new boat.... Thoughts as to the cause? I was thinking wrong size prop?

    What brand of power does your boat have, Mercruiser or Volvo Penta?

    The "beeps" you're are hearing are telling you something important and the engine might be in a "limp mode" condition.
