2020 218 ob with 150 hp or 2018 217 ob with evinrude e tec 225? Both new

We want to have enough power to have lots people, ice chest etc.on boat and still tube etc.  I am worried 150 hp is not enough, dealer assures me it is but I found this other boat today but I am not sure about the evinrude engine.... any advice greatly appreciated.  Trying on water friday the 2020 218.  But, we won't be loaded with people and stuff.. thanks!

    I have a 2000 Evinrude 90HP on a 1999 16.5 ft Lund fishing boat and the motor and my experience has been excellent.  My concern is that you have Evinrude dealers in the are(s) you want to boat in.

    thank you for responding... that boat did not end up working out... so now boat has a yamaha.. but the evinrude sounds good in lots of ways!
