2016 CC 231 Fueling Issue

Is there a secret to fueling the 2016 CC 231? On previous boats I simply syphon the gas out of a 5 gal container into the fuel nozzle. On this one the syphon hose hits an obstruction before it can be firmly seated into the filler neck. Anyone have any ideas why this is happening and how to fix it? Thanks.

I use a Hopkins shaker siphon and have the same boat. It works fine for me.

Thanks for the info. I borrowed a shaker siphon from a neighbor and it worked fine. Go figure. Probably operator error.
