2006 GS 194. Previous outing when sitting at idle bilge pump continued to run, but no water available to be pumped out. Recycled switches and power to no avail. Eventually stopped on its own. Last outing, bilge again ran with no water present. Returned to ramp, recycled switches and power to no avail. Disconnected pump from battery and reconnected; operated as designed. Suggestions?

Replace or loose your float switch! If you don't keep the boat in the water, really no reason to have it. Just manually run it now and again. If the pump keeps running, it will kill your battery and then it will be time to activate that Sea Tow membership!!!
