Time to plane

i have a 2007 fundeck 19 ft with a 115hp Yamaha motor. When I have 3 adults avg 200 lbs and a couple kids on the boat it can over a minute to get up on plane. Is this normal?  Is the motor just to small for this boat?

    I have a 2013 SD 2000.  I had a slight issue with planing time as well.  I added smart tabs.  They are awesome.  THe boat now jumps on plane.  Google them...they are basically automatic trim tabs.  Easy to install too.
