    2004 FD201GS stainless prop selection

    alhartalhart Member Posts: 1
Hi.  I recently bought an 04 FD201GS with a Yamaha F150 four stroke.  The current prop is a basic aluminum prop (don't know the specs) that has some wear and one ding in a leading edge.  I'm thinking of going stainless for a new prop and wondering if there was a "factory" or standard size and pitch for my setup and whether 3 or 4 blade works better on the boat.  I'm not looking to squeeze every MPH I can get top end - just good for pulling up a skiier and good cruising efficiency.  Thanks for whatever help I can get!
