CAPACITY PLATE

BWHBWH Member Posts: 113 ✭✭✭

I saw on another post where someone had a discrepancy on a capacity plate.  I do as well; atleast I think I do.

My capacity plate clearly states "Model: FD 188 OB".  However, on the side of my boat it reads "Hurricane Fun Deck GS 194".    I understand that the "GS" represents that it has fiberglass sides, but why does the plate read 188 and sides 194?

Thanks

@BWH, the best way to confirm is to provide Hurricane Support with the Hull Identification Number and confirm what was built and then you'll know which is incorrect.
