I have a 2002 Fundeck 196 and I would like to get a boat lift. Somebody is selling a 5000# capacity lift they used with a Mastercraft 205. Would this work for my boat?
Also, I'm on a shallow lake and the end of my dock is less than 2 feet deep. Can I even use a lift in that shallow of water?

This sounds like you will be fine.

A 5000 lb lift will be fine with a boat of that weight. You will need to know the draft of your boat and the height of the cradle to determine whether you can use the lift. With less than 2 feet of water, you may need to use a sling instead of a cradle.
