Who makes your seat cushions

I like many other owners had my seat cushions blow out while towing. Rears tried your parts
, customer service, and three dealers. Nobody much cares because the boat is a 2004 fundeck 211  It looks identical to a sun deck sport but was told by factory that seats are not the same. I don't want to argue, just want to fix my boat. Can you tell me where to go to buy replacements?

    Did you ever find replacements?

    Since you are asking about replacing your seats, I assume you need/want entire replacements.  If the vinyl material is in disrepair, most owners enlist the services of a marine upholstery shop (although some do it themselves).  They usually can come close to matching the original colors and style.

    If original is what you're interested in;

    "callforbids", a member of this forum, had posted a very informative response to a similar thread in this forum a while back.  I copied his post for your review, maybe this might help you:

    Here is what I have done and it seems to be a cost effective alternative:

    A company in New Paris, Indiana called Veada, Inc. (www.veada.com) makes a lot of the seating for Godfrey and Hurricane. They were the suppliers on both my 2005 Sweetwater pontoon and my 2008 Sun Deck. You can contact their customer service department and by sending them a digital picture of the upholstery that is damaged they will in return you several samples, one of which will match your vinyl. Once that is done, you can purchase the vinyl from them at a cost ofr $13 per running yard (Spools are 54 inches wide so $13 plus shipping will get you a piece 54" by 36". Take the seat and piece of vinyl toan upholstery shop and replace the damged area.

    Keep in mind that if your boat has some age on it, you may pick the correct vinyl color, but because of fading it may not match 100%. My 2005 whose vinyl was weathered, matched 95+ percent. Most observers couldn't identify the replaced pice. Although it was a small section less than 12" by 24".

    Good luck,
    Steve

    Try contactin Veada, Inc. As far as I know they make the seating for Godfrey. I purchased a helm seat, a bolster (back rest) cushion and a few other items for my Hurricane from them. You can get contact info at [link=http://www.veada.com/]www.veada.com[/link] They are located in New Paris, Indiana. Good luck!

    I filed your your upholstery responses for future reference for when I eventually have upholstery issues, Steve!  I'm sure they have been very helpful to many members.  I for one have appreciated your post!

    As callforbids mentioned, at Veada we're happy to send out free samples to match up the upholstery job.  Visit http://veada.com/sample-request.html.  If we built the original seats, we may have the color code on file - we can typically access about 7 years worth of history.
