2400 ride better than SD 237 ?

I have a 2007 SD 237. It rides well on the Intercoastal but is a little rough on the open Gulf. I believe the deadrise is 13 degrees. I do not like the low freeboard either. Does the 2400 offer a better ride and is there more freeboard ? Is the head more roomier on the 2400. Thanks in advance,

We have a 2014 SD 2400 IO with a Merc sterndrive, LOA of 24' 8". It has a 16 degrees deadrise and a lot of freeboard. We use it in the Pacific Ocean. Stays dry and handles the chop well. Don't know if the head is bigger than your SD 237. I'm 5' 9" and I fit in it ok.
