I am faced with replacing a badly damaged bimini frame (negligence of previous owner). I have seen one picture of a Hurricane that appeared to have basically an enlarged t-top style frame and cover skin attached. My GS201 is a 2001 model so just for fun I had local dealer price a brand new oem frame and top: $1400!! So if I am faced with that kind of investment I thought I would investigate other options.

I just replaced the bimini top on my 2001 GS201 with a standard 4 bow top from Amazon. The size was 8' long x 54" high, and the width fits 85" to 90" the cost was $178.98 with free shipping. It fits well and the quality is very good. Search on Amazon for a "4 bow bimini top by MSC"
