Bimini Braces

We have a 1999 Hurricane Deckboat - Sundeck with outboard motor. A couple of years after we bought out boat the new ones came out with a Bimini that doesn't have to be lowered all the way like ours. Is it possible to buy different bars/braces so that we could reposition our Bimini so that it can be left in a lower resting position without it either laying on the motor or having to be put in the up position.

Welcome to the Owners Forum, Trela!

Bimini top hardware is available at many on-line and local marine supply stores and you could fabricate the short tube supports if you feel up to the challenge.

Another solution is to find a local marine upholsterer.  Most also fabricate bimini tops.  You can show them the picture I'm posting to give them an idea of what you're trying to do and they should be able to make it for you.
