Talking about cast net shrimping, particularly in the coastal areas.
We remove Bimini to allow more room, but then loose the anchor light. Suggestions?
What changes have you made to your Hurricane to make shrimping easier?
Do you have a certain way you store your polls onboard during the baiting season?

Unfortunately I don't do shrimping, but since you you are using your boat for this purpose, it might make sense to install a second removable stern light. You could locate the socket somewhere along the top surface of the stern area. Use this when you remove your bimini.

Thanks cjjjdeck, that is the long term plan. For now, have been using a white chem light or a cheap solar yard type light to ensure compliance. As biminis are removalble, sure seems like there would have been an alternate anchor light in the original plan.
