COAST GUARD PLATE

Coast Guard plate attached to inside of boat list it as a "FD 188, 10 persons or 1410 lbs etc". Outside of boat reads "Fun Deck GS 194". Anyone know why the disparity?

Is this a new or used boat. My guess is used and that when the plate/placard wore on the inside, the new one was ordered. However, the FD GS 194 doesn't exist any more so the new placard which matches the specifications between the two was used.------------------------------------------------------------------------------2010 Hurricane SS 188 OB
