Might be worth having a prop shop look at the balance of your prop.

There is a history of problems on older F150s with failure of the harmonic balancer in the engine.  I remember hearing that 04 and 05 were 2 of the more problem prone years.  I've heard of guys getting replacement by Yamaha even though the engine is out of warranty, and others that had no luck.  Typically there is a whine or squealing noise or vibration before failure, but some fail without notice.

nquirk could also be right that it could be a prop problem, but I'd get the balancer checked by a knowledgeable mechanic before I ran it too much more.  If the balancer fails it can be catastrophic to the engine.
